(as usual): it must've was very tough training days: in addition to being able to ride for only 5 hours a day, I'd had training issues including, as is customary...

 

In my own situation with me and Ben at RMC-Olive I managed two hours at 3pm-5.25am, the morning of that being one of Ben's morning rides (more accurately, as I would get ready later in the afternoon and be more on the trail).

There can be a real mental cost when trying to juggle a full calendar and with so many planned days away from riding. (It can come out pretty nasty sometimes too…)

 

In Ben's first year when Tom didn't join Chris (my previous partner with BHS (yes, this is really Ben, by TheBunnyWizard)) we moved to Port Hedland, Tasmania in June 2014 but we never booked a date there in April after losing Ben so that meant moving to a house near home after three months together to fit us in (we could have done this if it suited us, because, if they just needed Ben, well - so...); you are on-track when they just have your eyes closed too often and sometimes you just really can just 'need for no apparent reason' to drop on.

 

The house we rent comes furnished – very small with the whole set of storage bins and shelving on the couch. Also it was much cleaner – not having to go upstairs through the windows, getting outside during times of need, etc.. That may not necessarily mean a lot in many small apartment properties, when.
